A kitchen for the whole family
This is your morning, seen from the ceiling.
Each circle is a person. They walk between the cabinets and the table, step around one another, and the floor remembers the route. Narrow the walkway and you'll see where the crowding starts.
This device didn't start the model. The numbers below don't change because of that.
This is an illustrative social-force model, not a measurement of your family: routes are random and the squeeze count changes between runs.
If a 25 mm chipboard top rests only on the side panels, 30 kg in the middle bends it 26.8 mm, and the tolerance is 11.9 mm. It needs a middle support or a metal frame.
Norms: 610 mm per person, 381 mm for knees, walkway 1067 or 1219 mm, behind chairs 1118 mm (NKBA). These are recommendations. An operator adds the overhang: it isn't in the automatic layout yet.

How it's built
- The Helbing and Molnár social-force model in a separate Web Worker: the main thread stays free, and positions transfer without copying.
- A GPU heat map: spots print into a float texture and the trail cools in a ping-pong loop, with no library.
- Island and deflection numbers come from a real counter calculation in the FurniGen core, not from the animation.
- The model starts after the first frame. Without WebGL the page and all numbers remain.
What we don't have yet
- A hob or sink on the island isn't automatic: the island has no appliances yet.
- The service is in closed testing, with no paid orders yet. We don't promise manufacturing, installation, lead times or guarantees yet. No price: the calculation comes first.
